I had a request to post the lyrics to this song on my blog this weekend. I wrote this years ago when I was living in Nashville, had just lost my job singing with a band, filed bankruptcy, broke up with my boyfriend, and was sitting in my apartment in the dark because NES had just turned off the electricity.
