KILL OR BE KILLED

I'm still confused at the notion of some of you who listen to WMAY who actually think that the London attacks are a result of the war in Iraq. These terrorists never needed an excuse before 9/11, why on earth would you think that they do now? They've been hating anyone who is NOT them for decades now, why should this attack be motivated by anything different than before?

Although my colleague Jim Leach continues to deny it, he spouted these very things AGAIN this morning on his show. He said over and over again...

Jim says (I'm quoting from his blog) "... But many pro-war types, including Bush himself, have tried to justify Iraq after the fact (after the WMD rationale evaporated and we weren't greeted as liberators with rose pedals thrown at our feet) by claiming that if we're fighting the terrorists there, we won't have to fight them at home. The British learned first-hand today how nonsensical that is."

Did anyone ever say that ALL terrorists are now in Iraq? "BUSH HIMSELF" has never said that it is an absolute -- that all terrorists are now there and that's where we will fight them. Give me a break.

Here's the truth. The world IS A BETTER PLACE without Saddam Hussein in power. We will continue to support the country (Iraq) until they are ready to defend themselves. We will continue to track Osama AND THOSE THAT SERVE HIM and bring them to justice.

For anyone NOT to think that there will continue to be suicide bombers, explosions, attacks, and loss of life is not living in the real world. That's the reality of it, and I support George W & Blair and anyone else who stands firm in that these evil ones will not WIN.

I don't know, cleocat, I'd like to think the world is a better place knowing there are people like you mentioned who are willing to give their lives for the cause of Freedom.

It began with the Balfour Declaration of 1917, (http://www.mideastweb.org/mebalfour.htm)
and we only became aware when the first terrorists could afford to travel. Unfortunately, we focus on the effect, not the cause, as we do with all crime.

Getting pulverized is the price populations of the West will periodically pay for their complacent acceptance of the central bankers' phoney war on terror. This price could escalate from isolated bombings to biological attacks and plagues to possible nuclear war.

Richard A. Clarke, the very effective security specialist at the White House (and later forced out because of his honesty and competence) has delivered a scathing assessment of Bush administration policy and personnel in his book, "Against All Enemies: Inside America's War on Terror." Clarke portrays the president and his top aides as arrogant, insular and uninformed. A more accurate, or cogent, assessment could not have been made, especially to those who have to put up with the blind stupidity and fanaticism of the top levels of the current Bush administration.

I dont understand the criticism of our policies in Iraq. We were in the right to go because of all the reasons Mr. Bush stated 1)wmd's, 2)he tried to kill Bush's daddy, 3)to rid the world of Saddam, 4)and all those other reasons when the first three proved fruitless and pointless.
The world is a safer place without Saddam in power. Look how vibrant and jubilant Iraq is now, as compared to when Saddam was in power. Suicide bombings, beheadings, etc. are just the price that the Iraqis must pay in order to enjoy Bush style democracy.
Now, if you will excuse me, I must go take my medication...
